There are many benefits of welfare in the UK and there are many types of benefits I will mentions 7 types of benfits. Pregant women have a maternity and it is 18 week rest for the women who is pregnant. Old people that cannot work or retired they get a pension and it is 110 pounds per week. Disabed people that cannot work they get disablility benfit and also people who have children the goverment pays them 20 pounds per week. Sick people also have welfare and it is called Statutory sick pay. Unemplyed also have a welfare and they called them "THE DOLE". Employed people that have a low income also get a income support. The advantages and disadvantages of the welfare is that the retierd age is 60 for female and the male is 65 and it is not same as the state pension. According to (Gov.uk)"Retirement age is not the same as State Pension age which can be between 61 and 68, depending when someone was born and if they’re male or female. Anyone can carry on working past State Pension age." The age of the retiredment is very high and the icome that the goverment give is to low £110.15 per week people the life in the UK is very expensive and £110.15 is to low for a old man because he need much money to keep his life going on. According to (GOV.UK) "The maximum you can get is £110.15 per week". Welfare in Qatar is completely different than the UK welfare in Qatar the people can retire after working 10 years for the government and that includes male and female. The government give an retirement salary and it is the basic without any addition.
The maternity in Qatar for the pregnant women's is one year.
